How a Class 1 Railroad Reduced Annual Capital and Maintenance Costs by over $9 million
By implementing maintenance and operational changes based on TEMS Inc. personnel methodology, this Class I Railroad was able to increase safety, reduce annual capital (owner ship) and maintenance cost in excess of $9 million CAD, without jeopardizing reliability and availability of the motive power fleet.
The motor power sample fleet included a total of 1439 EMD locomotive.
